"Of all the paths you take in life, make some lead to the lake.”

It's October, when the Arizona desert normally begins to calm its highest temperatures.
As you can see Lake Havasu City is a wonderful oasis of a lake. It's here because of the Colorado River. Which still has some flow, and the Lake Havasu Levels aren't too bad!

Had To Let You Know About That Special! Ends January 3, 2023.
First it crossed London's River Thames starting in the early 1830s. Over the years its sturdiness began going downhill. The city worried that the song, "London Bridge is falling down" would come true!
In 1968 Lake Havasu City's founder, Robert McCullough purchased it to attract people to his new planned lakeside community. Who would've thought London bridge is in Arizona!
It was relocated to Arizona, & operational by the end of 1971.
Original exterior stones were removed, trimmed & resurfaced. Then reconstructed over a new reinforced concrete inner foundation. The Lord Mayor of London was on hand for the setting of the original foundation stone when the work was beginning.
It's placed across the Bridgewater Channel. It's a canal that connects the main part of Lake Havasu with Thompson Bay. The English Village, a "river walk" & many Lake Havasu Arizona events center around London Bridge in Lake Havasu.
If you'd like a Lake Havasu Boat Tour, or maybe a dinner cruise, there are several opportunities to choose from. Here are some of the best:
SUNSET CHARTER & TOUR CO. - Many options, including exploring Copper Canyon, touring all the miniature lighthouses (replicas of authentic ones throughout the country), the wondrous & loved Sunset Tour & more. CRUISIN' TIKIS HAVASU - Yes, it's a floating Tiki-Bar cruise! Maximum of 6 to a cruise (not including crew), 13/+ years old only. No-wake speed for ease. They provide the "boat" - but it's BYOB & snacks. Want to?
DIXIE BELLE - Sunset tours on a 60' paddle-wheel boat, with bar-service on board. Other custom tours & event tours available. More info: keith@dixiebellelhc.com
CHANNEL CATZ - Maybe the best value. Max 6 people in the boat (larger boats available per request). Bring your own food/drinks & they provide extra amenities, including picking you up at your resort. Nice, flexibility here. More details: 928-482-2289.
